I have recently bought a new house and I have mud and rocks backing up into my bathtub is there anything I can do to fix this before calling a plumber?

I've tried drano and now nothing will drain. It was slow to drain before, when you took a shower there would be about 2 inches of water when you would finish and it would take about 20 minutes to drain.
