The problem started with a slow draining bathtub. The water would accumulate to about 2

Water comes from where toilet meets floor. Have snaked (50 ft) into main sewer line out of house; got lots of tree roots. After snaking did one load of laundry and toilet leaked again. Should I try snaking the toilet and bathtub? Or is there another problem in the main drain?

There is a type of liquid that i cant remember. It kills the roots ot of the sewage line. If your drainage system is black cast iron, then most likely it is badly clogged. Change over to PVC.
