Whilst having problems with your water system, most people call for a handyman. Many of them do not realize that instead of doing that, they can easily fix some of their problems on their own.
To make small repairing jobs, the following inexpensive tools should be available: plunger, adjustable wrench, screwdriver and plumber's "spring snake" (auger).
The jobs you can easily do by yourself are: catching hair from drain sticks, using different chemicals for treating septic systems by accelerating the breakdown of septic tank waste, opening water drain with water power (for clearing sink drains, showers, bath drains and toilets by just putting a water hose into the drain and turning the water on. This will clear the obstacles in the drain.), for clogged roots you can just use a chemical that is poured into the drain and which clears the clog.
More difficult repairing job is soldering. This has to be done when there is a leaking in metal pipes. In this case the leakage cannot be repaired without soldering. One of the options is to do it yourself, the other is calling for a repairman. While soldering yourself, safety rules must be followed punctually, otherwise it might result in burning injuries.
